We recently moved into a new home and decided to purchase new furniture for two rooms. We had some idea of what we wanted but nothing solid. Our salesman, Joe listened carefully and started to come up with some ideas and added pieces to pull the rooms together. Last piece delivered today and both rooms are beautiful.
Not many people know that designing a room is very much an art form. you will not find such talent at your average furniture store. Also everything they sell is made in the USA!!!
We bought three pieces of living room furniture. While the furniture is beautiful, the material is terrible! The salesperson never told us that it would be difficult to clean! Even when we use the prescribed cleaning solution it never works and often takes the color out! I think that a salesperson should inform the buyer that certain materials will not be able to be cleaned by a water product. I've had guests who have tried to clean up a spill not knowing that they will remove color too. It's been terrible and the store just says well you have to check the labels yourself. Lesson learned too late and we'll never buy from doughty's again!
He refused to do anything. These people are crooks !

Terrible store . I paid $ 1100.00 for a Recliner up front and they ordered it . After 8 weeks it came in and it was the wrong one ! The manager told me to use it anyway . That it was like shoes after its broke in we will like it . I am a disabled Vet with steel plates and bars in my back and front . When I told him it was not like the one on the floor . He said that one got sold (which I found out is not true )
